Our latex milk is a fantastic choice for hobbyists, artists, and craftspeople looking for a versatile material. The natural, pre-vulcanized rubber compound is easy to work with and is ideal for creating seamless molds for a variety of purposes. The high solids content of over 60% gives you a higher layer thickness and greater durability of the finished mold. Air-drying allows for easy application, as no crosslinker or hardener is required.

For larger molds or thicker layers, the latex milk is applied in several layers with intermediate drying.
After applying the final layer, the mold should dry thoroughly for at least 12 hours before use.

Latex milk molds can be cast with, for example:

- Plaster-based relief casting compounds (e.g. TFC Xyrarock or TFC Xyraflix, TFC Alabaster Plaster)
- Other water-soluble materials such as stucco, concrete, and casting clay
- Polyurethane casting resin
- UV-stabilized, crystal-clear casting resin
- Soap molding compound
- Wax (latex molds can withstand temperatures up to approximately 80 degrees Celsius)

But latex milk can do even more:

- Casting body parts (latex milk is skin-friendly)
- Making masks
- Use in body painting
- Making padded weapons and armor for Life Action Role Playing (LARP)
- Making latex diving equipment
- Anti-slip and rubberizing textiles (e.g., anti-slip socks, carpets)
- Granule/fiber bonding (e.g., molded parts made of cork, Styrofoam)
- Cutting-resistant finishing of fiber materials such as insulation mats
- Sealing the interior of kayaks and canoes

To increase the durability of your latex molds, we recommend using talcum powder after use Powder should be used. It is important to note that molds made from latex milk are not as durable as molds made from silicone rubber and are more sensitive to UV radiation, solvent-based cleaning agents, oils, greases, or copper-containing metal compounds.
Latex milk contains a very small amount of NH3 (approx. 0.3%) for stabilization, which may cause a noticeable odor. However, no special precautions are required during processing, other than the usual precautions when handling chemicals.
Latex milk is not subject to labeling requirements and is not subject to the Hazardous Substances Ordinance.
