Our packaging tips are intended to show you how to pack your return safely so that your property is not damaged.
The best possible packaging is particularly important when sending parcels, as the parcels must theoretically survive a fall from a height of around one meter.
Please take the time and carefully follow our packaging tips.It's worth it - this way your return will reach us safely.
General information:
Masking tape, Tesa or string are not suitable for sealing such a parcel. Crumpled newspaper is not suitable as cushioning material - but it can be used to fill hollow spaces.
Make sure that all old labels and barcodes are removed and made illegible.
You will need:
Sturdy cardboard boxes
Bubble wrap
Packing tape
and cutter Cushioning material such as crumpled paper or air cushions
1. Wrap the item to be packed generously in bubble wrap and secure it with packaging tape.
2. Take your box and carefully tape the bottom.
3. Line the bottom with padding material up to a height of about 10 cm.
4. Then place the wrapped item in the box and fill the edges around the item.
5. Then cover the item completely with padding material.
6. Tape the package to all edges where tears could form.
