How do I package my return?

Our packaging tips are intended to show you how to pack your return safely so that your belongings are not damaged. Optimal packaging is particularly important when sending parcels, as the packages must theoretically survive a fall from a height of approximately one meter.

Please take your time and carefully follow our packaging tips. It's worth it – This way, your return will reach us safely.

ATTENTION - IMPORTANT
Under no circumstances should you use letter or bubble envelopes or plastic bags for returns. Due to the conveyor belt technology in mail centers, the goods can easily be damaged or squeezed out of the packaging! We assume no responsibility or liability for any damage or loss!

Important and General Information:

  • Masking tape, Tesa, or string are not suitable for sealing such a package.
  • Crumpled newspaper is not suitable as padding material - however, it can be used to fill hollow spaces.
  • Ensure that all old labels and barcodes are removed and defaced.

You Need:

  • Sturdy cardboard boxes
  • Bubble wrap
  • Packing tape and cutter
  • Cushioning material such as crumpled paper or air cushions

How to pack correctly?

1. Protect the item

For liquids: Pack them in a plastic bag (zip bag) and seal it.

For brushes: Pack brushes in a bag and Glue these to sturdy cardboard so that the brush cannot bend.

For large items: Wrap the item to be packed generously in bubble wrap and secure it with packing tape.

Miscellaneous items: Wrap securely in paper or plastic bags.

2. Take a suitable cardboard box and carefully tape the bottom. The box should be generously enough to allow enough space around the item.

3. Line the bottom with cushioning material up to a height of approximately 1/4 of the box height.

4. Then place the protected item in the box and fill the edges around the item.

5. Then completely cover the item with cushioning material until the box is 100% full.

6. Place the completed cancellation form or repair certificate in the package. Seal the package at all edges where tears may occur.
